Anonymized VPN and Proxy services are not permitted to access WICSD internet resources.  Though VPNs have a wide variety of positive uses, anonymized access to WICSD tools presents a security and privacy concern in the K-12 domain with potential conflicts around data logging and access requirements, internet filtering regulations, and regional access restrictions. VPN use is only permitted within the district for faculty and staff use in specifically authorized cases using a district-supplied and individually authorized VPN solution.
