The WICSD team has been hard at work preparing and refreshing laptops for students to use during the 2020-21 academic year.  Though our shipment of new devices for 5th and 9th graders arrived a bit late, we’re pleased to announce that these laptops will be available for deployment to 5th and 9th graders on August 18th at Southlawn School.

Students entering 5th and 9th grade are asked to have parents/guardians drive up with their old laptop, bag, and charger on August 18th between 7:30 and 11 am, or between 3:30 and 7 p.m.  At that time,

Laptop collection and deployment will occur in drive-up fashion at Rogers/Southlawn School, located at 219 Northfield Road.  District volunteers will be available to assist from 7:30 to 11 a.m. and then again from 3:30 to 7 p.m. on the specified day.  We would ask that you please neatly print your child’s name and graduation year on an index card or piece of paper and place it between the monitor and keyboard (close the clamshell around it) to help minimize your wait time.  A volunteer will come to your car window to assist you while you remain in the vehicle.  Laptop chargers must be turned in with the laptop.
